Join host Julia Figueras for a percussive Backstage Pass with the RPO Marimba Band. The band consists of 5-6 percussionists and features the marimba, but expect some accompaniment from other percussion instruments like a steel drum and a drum set. The marimba band plays more contemporary and Caribbean music that is fun, accessible music that the whole family will appreciate.

Backstage Pass, a live radio program broadcast from WXXI's Studio E, is dedicated to spotlighting the arts in Rochester and is made possible in part by a grant from the Gouvernet Arts Fund at Rochester Area Community Foundation.
