Arts Council President Stepping Down
Sarah Lentini, who has been the President and CEO of the Arts & Cultural Council of Greater Rochester over the last 14 years is stepping down from that post.
Board Chair Grace Tillinghast says Lentini is leaving in January to pursue new, professional opportunities.
She says Lentini has "done an outstanding job of leading the Arts & Cultural Council...developing and launching many exciting new initiatives and programs" including designing and building a new gallery and corporate facilities, and founding Metropolitan magazine, which is dedicated to arts and culture.
The board has appointed the Council's current Director of Development and Grant Programs, David Semple, as acting Executive Director when Lentini leaves.
