Arts Council Gets A New Home
The Arts and Cultural Council of Greater Rochester has a new home. The local umbrella organization for arts groups in this area recently announced it has to move out of its North Goodman Street space, and end its gallery operation there due to financial problems.
On Friday, the council along with the Rochester Association of Performing Arts (RAPA) announced that the Arts and Cultural council will move this spring into its new home at the Kodak Center for Performing Arts at the Eastman Business Park on West Ridge Road.
The new facility will include a gallery as well as offices and meeting space. The move is expected to be completed in April.
