There’s been an arrest in the 2003 robbery of the Xerox Federal Credit Union in Webster.
Reportedly Richard Leon Wilbern is facing federal bank robbery charges in that fatal incident.
Other details about the arrest were not immediately available, but are expected to be released Wednesday.
Earlier this year, the FBI said there were new leads in the August 2003 robbery which involved a man disguised as an FBI agent. During the robbery, he shot two people, killing Raymond Batzel of Livingston County and injuring Joseph Doud of Rochester.
There has been a $60,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. $50,000 came from the FBI, and $10,000 from Xceed Federal Credit Union, which is what that credit union is now called.
When authorities released information in March, they said that photos were being put on digital billboards around Buffalo, Niagara Falls, and Rochester.
