Officials with Rochester's bus company say the new RTS Transit Center will open ahead of schedule and under budget this fall.
The grand opening is set for November 28th.
Chief Information Officer in charge of the project, Miguel Velazquez, most of the work on the outside of the facility has been completed.
But there are several systems that need to be commissioned, such as HVAC and technology systems that will need to be tested and vetted before the system goes live in November.
The new state-of-the-art climate-controlled facility will have information desks, ticket vending machines, rest rooms, bike racks, round the clock security and more, according to RTS.
The center will span an entire block between St. Paul Street and Clinton Avenue.
The bus company Tuesday launched a new brand identity and rolled out newly painted green, white and blue buses, along with a rebranded website, myrts.com.
