Groundbreaking ceremonies were held Monday as part of the redevelopment of the Sibley Building in downtown Rochester.

The first phase of the $200 million project on East Main St. will include construction of 96 new apartments, 72 active senior living homes, as well as additional retail and office space.

Lieutenant Governor Kathy Hochul was at the ceremony, and believes the building will become a catalyst for rejuvenating the downtown area.

High above the streets of downtown Rochester sits a Peregrine Falcons nest.

Originally founded in 1994, on top of the Kodak Office Tower, the Rochester Peregrine Falcon Project set up a nest box to simulate the flacon's natural cliff habitat.

In 2008, the nest was moved to the Times Square Building, where falcons have migrated too and from ever since.

Thanks to Rfalconcam.com, Five cameras are set around the nest, to give you an up close and personal view into the world of these falcons as they raise their young.
